LIMA Announces New President

Maura Regan is succeeding LIMA President Charles Riotto, who will retire in June after 21 years with the organization.

Maura Regan has been named president of the International Licensing Industry Merchandisers’ Association. Starting in July, Regan will employ her expertise in licensing to grow LIMA’s presence across the globe.

Regan is succeeding LIMA President Charles Riotto, who will retire June 30 after 21 years with the organization. Regan had worked with Riotto since 2016, when she joined LIMA as executive vice president.

“Maura is a respected and influential member of the global licensing community who has already brought an incredible strategic vision to our global interests,” Riotto says. “She is perfectly positioned to lead LIMA into our next exciting chapter. Her impact will further enhance LIMA’s role as the industry’s thought leader and authoritative voice as licensing continues to grow around the world.”

Before Regan’s time at LIMA, she held several executive roles at Sesame Workshop, including senior vice president and general manager of international media business, where she oversaw the company’s international distribution and licensing. Prior to Sesame Workshop, Regan spent time in senior positions at Scholastic Entertainment and MTV Networks. She served as Chairman of the LIMA Board of Directors from 2012 to 2014.
