Children’s clothing retailer The Children’s Place on Monday named Michael Scarpa its new chief financial officer, effective Dec. 3. Scarpa, 56, was previously the CFO and chief operating officer of women’s clothing chain Talbots and also worked at Liz Claiborne for 25 years.
