Licensing International Expo’s 29th annual edition reportedly brought in more than 113 new exhibitors and 130 new retailer attendees, and the show organizers reported the new Las Vegas location was well received overall, as the move allowed exhibitors to be consolidated on one continuous show floor.

“It was almost unanimous that this was one of the most productive and global shows for the industry to date,”said Liz Crawford, show director. “Over 67 percent of the retailers in attendance were brand new to the show, and the crowd overall brought a whole new energy to the show floor.”

Adnia Avery-Grossman of Brandgenuity described a vibrant show floor and near-constant meetings. “What surprised us was the number of new brand representatives that came up to our booth looking to understand licensing and licensing agents better,”she said.

The next Licensing International Expo is scheduled to take place June 8-10, 2010, at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center. Visit www.licensingexpo.com.
