This month, Adidas and Disney are introducing a collection for infants and kids featuring classic Disney characters on performance apparel, footwear and accessories. “Mickey Mouse remains at the forefront of many fashion trends, and we’re delighted with the way we’ve been able to integrate Mickey and friends into this range,” noted Pamela Lifford, Disney Consumer Products’ executive vice president of global fashion and home. Pete Brady, category manager of Adidas Kids added, “This cooperation is such a great opportunity for two world-leading brands to bring together their expertise and create a totally new fingerprint which combines kids’ sport, and their love of all things Disney.”

Mickey and Minnie Mouse, Goofy, and Donald and Daisy Duck will appear on tees, pants, bags, hats, socks and other athletic-inspired gear. Traditional Adidas silhouettes will be outfitted with rubber character badges and Mickey Mouse-shaped zipper pulls. Adidas’ classic three-stripe design is present in the line, and several highlights feature allover prints with a metallic finish, while 3-D elements and Disney shapes on the soles add a touch of fun to the footwear.

The line will debut at Adidas Sport Performance stores and sports retailers worldwide. Adidas also has plans for a collection starring characters from Disney/Pixar’s film favorite “Toy Story,” set to hit retail in time for the third movie’s release on June 18.
