Hape Hosts Window Display Contest for Retailers

Does your holiday window display have what it takes?

Environmentally-conscious toy company Hape is holding a window display contest for its retailers with a chance to win a train trip to the Canadian Rockies. The contest is inspired by Hape’s new railway collection, according to Marketing Manager Robin Lehnert.

“The colorful, inventive product, stunning packaging and play tables are visually appealing, and we knew store owners would embrace the opportunity to create an imaginative holiday window,” Lehnert says.

Boutiques looking to participate should create a Hape Railway-themed window display and submit photos to marketing@hapetoys.com no later than Dec. 31. Winners will be chosen Feb. 1 based on their in-store and window presentations. One retailer and a guest plus an associated rep and a guest will be announced Feb. 18 during Toy Fair 2018.

The prize includes roundtrip airfare to Vancouver, Canada and a two-day trip to Banff’s Lake Louise in addition to hotel and meals. According to Lehnert, a trip showcasing the scenery of the Canadian Rockies was chosen to parallel what young engineers imagine when play with Hape trains.
