Along with its move to Vegas, Licensing International Expo 2009 is raising the bar with the addition of live fashion runway shows at the upcoming edition, running June 2-4 at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center. Co-produced by Onebox Productions, shows will be held daily at 10 a.m., 12 p.m. and 2 p.m. in the 7th Avenue Fashion Pavilion, highlighting exhibitors’ diverse apparel and accessories offerings. The midday show will be a fully sponsored show from one exhibitor while the others will feature a collection of exhibitors from the worlds of fashion, entertainment, sports, lifestyle and beyond.

“With annual global sales expected to top $40 billion this year, demand for licensed apparel has never been stronger,” said Georgiann Decenzo, executive vice president of Advanstar Communications, which manages the Expo. She noted the addition of the runway shows is an effort to help attendees discover what’s next. For more details, visit www.licensingexpo.com.
