Last month, children’s wear company Heir Apparel opened an 800-square-foot retail space in El Segundo, Calif.’s Plaza El Segundo. The store carries Heir’s clothing for boys and girls as a select few other lines. Owner Zna Houston noted an adjacent 200-square-foot space has been set up as an Etiquette Pavilion, where the company hosts a program called ManHEIRisms for both children and adults and can accommodate parties.

Heir has also announced a casting for child models. The company will hold auditions for boys and girls ages 2 to 12 to cast fashion shows taking place Saturday, July 25, and Sunday, July 26, and is also looking for kids to be “the 2010 faces” of the brand. The casting will take place at Heir’s store on June 28. For further details, call (310) 647-5993 or e-mail info@heirapparel.com.
