Earnie Awards

The Earnie Awards is Earnshaw’s annual award for design excellence in children’s wear. For more than 30 years, the magazine has recognized manufacturers in more than 20 categories, including accessories, footwear, licensed apparel, sportswear, formalwear, outerwear, swimwear and infants and toddlers’ apparel. Nominees are selected by a committee consisting of children’s wear experts; the winners are then selected by retailers. Earnshaw’s tabulates these results and announces the winners.

As the only comprehensive award program for manufacturers in this industry, the Earnies honor denotes children’s retailers’ seal of approval, an important and valuable distinction for the companies that are selected.

In 2009, the 33rd annual Earnie Awards were presented in 20 categories, including a new category, Best Diaper Bag. Nationwide retailers from all market channels selected the winning companies.
