YouTuber Emily Arrow Releases Ukulele Book for Kids

Emily Arrow, an award-winning children’s songwriter and Kala Brand Music Co. artist, has partnered with Fox Chapel Publishing to release a kid-friendly ukulele guide. The new book, Kids Guide to Learning the Ukulele: 24 Songs to Learn and Play for Kids, teaches children the fundamentals of the ukulele with 24 songs, games and activities to practice.

Drawing more than 600,000 viewers to her YouTube channel, Arrow entertains fans with live performances to cheerful ukulele tutorials. “I created this new genre of music so that readers of all ages can sing along to their favorite stories,”Arrow says of her online content. “Ukuleles are easy to learn, comfortable to hold and provide an entry into the world of music,” she explains. “I try to make my own mark by helping children feel happy and confident when they are learning!”

To promote the new book, Arrow will perform at Toy Fair in New York next month. A book signing will follow her performance. She will also be donating books to Kids in a New Groove, a non-profit based in Austin, TX that provides free music lessons to children in the adoption and foster care system.
