The 68th Fall/Winter edition of the Pitti Immagine Bimbo’s children’s wear market held in Florence, Italy, drew more attendance than anticipated given the economy. The show’s 530 featured children’s wear brands attracted approximately 9,500 buyers, according to show management. The market also hosted 13 fashion shows from designers like Miss Blumarine, Calvin Klein, Agatha Ruiz de la Prada, Miss Grant and Diesel.

Attendees were invited to peruse the eight sections of the show: Pitti Bimbo, Sport Generation, New View, Kids’ Design, SuperStreet, EcoEthic, BabyWorld and Apartment, a new section for luxury lifestyle brands such as Little Marc Jacobs, Bonnie Young, and Caramel Baby and Child.

While there were fewer Spanish and Greek buyers at this edition, Pitti management said the show drew more people from Brazil, Poland, Czech Republic, New Zealand, Syria and North Africa.
