New York-based retailer FAO Schwarz recently announced the resignation of CEO Edward Schmults and the decision to appoint Barry Erdos, ex-president and COO of Bluefly, to the position. Schmults had served as head of the company since September 2005, and reportedly left to pursue other interests.
