From hairdo to fashion guru, four-year-old Paxton Bazile turns up the volume in his (really) young career.
Paxton Bazile had thousands of social media followers before he could even put a full sentence together. Better known as #BeauwithFro, Bazile’s stardom began when Instagram fell in love with the tiny tot’s memorable afro. Today his account
@pax.loves.knox has nearly 20,000 followers that Mom updates with pictures of Bazile and his new brother, Knox. “I like being a big brother,” Bazile says. “I just don’t like dirty diapers.”
When he’s not busy cuddling with his 4-month-old sibling and his Pomeranian, Baloo, Bazile can be found juggling his pre-kindergarten education in the Boston suburbs with a flourishing modeling career. Nicknamed “Flash” for how quickly he nails the perfect shot, Bazile has worked with top names like Ralph Lauren, Target, Skip Hop, Oeuf, Egg by Susan Lazar, Boon and Hanna Andersson. “It’s fun taking pictures,” he says. “You get to play around, and they have bacon.” (Well, at least Target’s catering did.)
Bazile rocks a fierce sense of style on and off set, from his go-to “ninja shirt” by Nununu to his favorite “tiger pants” by Pop Up Shop. Mom, a.k.a. Bazile’s personal stylist, purchases most of his clothing from Kodomo, Ladida, Monkey McCoy, Weemondine, Fawn Shoppe and Noble Carriage. “I like red and cool,” he says of his personal style, mentioning a red Gucci puffer jacket and Gucci sneakers as top picks. “Anything with animals is good, too.”
Other brands filling the up-and-coming fashion influencer’s closet include Little Urban Apparel, Bobo Choses, Mini Rodini, Rylee + Cru, Oeuf, Heir Kid, Gray Label, Hugo Loves Tiki and Veja. As for accessories, Bazile appreciates a nice pair of shades, but nixes hats. “They make my hair itchy,” he says.
When asked about his next career move, Bazile ponders the question of what he wants to be when he grows up. After a long pause, he says, “What do you mean…like dress up? Probably a dragon.”
