Good news for all the stay-at-home dads out there! The juvenile product brand Ju-Ju-Be is launching a line of daddy-driven diaper bags. Meet the XY Collection, a line of five different practical yet fashion-forward bag styles, inspired by a classically male aesthetic. Jo Croft, co-founder of Ju-Ju-Be, shares that the brand’s followers had been asking for dad-friendly gear for years; however, they only began researching the new category in the past 18 months.

“We looked at the fabrics, fit and features that would appeal to men,” Croft says. During the process, the brand ran into an unexpected twist—a lot of women were interested in the more subdued styles, too. Croft explains, “While the XY Collection is targeted toward men, we feel like it’ll end up being a good unisex bag.”

The five styles include the Hatch, Base, Clone, Vector and Helix. Each bag is made from stain-resistant, machine-washable materials with functional organization features. “We’re really trying to make these bags work for people—not just be carried,” Croft says.

So far, the line has been very well-received. “I’m scared because it’s been so positively received, we might not have enough initial production,” he says. “We anticipated a good response, but it’s been a fantastic response!”
The bags will launch on Aug. 15 at Nordstrom and BuyBuy Baby, as well as other specialty retailers. Wholesale prices range from $40 to $82.50.
