The California Market Center (CMC) and the LA Fashion Market have shifted the dates for the Holiday/Resort 2010 trade shows by a day, meaning the upcoming market–including LA Kids Market–will take place Sunday, Aug. 8, through Wednesday, Aug. 11.
“The reason for the date shift is to provide more of a buffer between L.A. and Vegas,” said CMC spokeswoman Audrey Okulick. The markets are usually held in the fourth week of August, she noted, but have been bumped up to the third week in order “to give our tenants who participate in both markets enough time to pack and ship.” For further details, visit www.californiamarketcenter.com.
